My exploration of the Martial Arts and Zen practices drive my desire to paint and draw. My work expresses the synergy of these disciplines. Through this, I have developed the ability to represent movement and physical emotion in all media within the boundaries of paper and canvas.

I attack the two-dimensional surface from all directions. My work is self expression balanced with intense logical breakdowns. I love the magic of illusion: having a subject break through the two-dimensional plane, leaping off the page and pulling back. I strive to bring pleasure and excitement to the laymen viewers while giving the sophisticates something to ponder.

I take great pleasure in the challenge presented in treading a new path in every blank canvas, breaking new ground to uncover unknown territories. I embark on this journey in order to share with others the new possibilities that my fantasies and observations bring into my narrative imagery. My work is designed to seize the viewer’s attention on the graphic level while keeping their interest as they delve further into my image.
